My father and my hero, will celebrate his 90th Birthday next week. He is a total inspiration to me and always has been. We are having a small family gathering as he didn’t really want a big fuss, but I still wanted to create some special invitations so here they are all lined up …
We had decided to go with the colour scheme of Black White and Gold. It can sometimes be difficult to create a Male card, but I found this colour scheme lent itself well to the man and the occasion. I thought the Confetti Star punch created the perfect backdrop for my Gold Foil numbers. 90 is such a milestone, it needed to stand out and shine from the card. I also love the softness of vellum and I do try to use it where I can as I just love how it can change the look of a project.
Here is a closer look at the invitation.
I’m looking forward to having the time to create his card – there are so many choices in the new Spring/Summer catalogue. Any recommendations?
Here are all the product I used on my invitations. If you would like too purchase any of the supply, just click on the link and it will bring you directly to my online shop. And if you haven’t tried including vellum in your projects, give it a go.
I will be back soon to share my card as his Birthday is fast approaching
Until next time, happy crafting
