Stamp-a-Stack favourites for the Sweethearts

By | October 5, 2022

Welcome to the Sweethearts Blog Hop where our theme is Anything Goes!!  I’ve chosen to show a card we made at my recent Stamp-a-Stack class.

I held my Stamp-a-Stack on Saturday and what a great afternoon we had getting a head start on our Christmas cards where we made 20 cards!  Of course, in order to make 20 cards in 3 hours, they can’t be too difficult or labour intensive. However, even though this is a fairly simple card, it’s still one of my all-time favourites!

A quick and easy card featuring the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder and Trees for Sale

The background is embossed using the Merry Melody £D embossing folder and I think it is such a striking effect.

I wanted my sentiment to be the words of a Christmas Carol or Christmas Song to go along with the musical background, so I chose this sentiment from Christmas to Remember.

You could use any element to decorate the right hand side, but what says Christmas more than a Christmas Tree? I’ve stamped the tree from Trees for Sale in Garden Green and added the co-ordinating die-cut.  These were a limited-time-offer in September so I hope you managed to buy them.. However, fear not if you missed them because you could heat emboss the overlay from Trees for Sale instead in White and achieve a similar effect.

I do hope you enjoyed my contribution to the Sweethearts Blog Hop, do hop on to the next contributor who will, no doubt, have a fantastic project to share with you.
