Farewell Painted Petals

By | May 6, 2015

Another great set will be leaving us shortly so I wanted to show you a couple of examples while you still have time to purchase it.

Firstly, here is a card I made when I participated in a swap.  Painted Petals was one of the first sets that caught my eye in the Occasions catalogue.  It’s strange as I’m not normally a ‘florals’ person avoiding them completely in fashion and homeware, but on cards, I just can’t seem to have enough flowers!!

I’ve used Old Olive and Daffodil Delight here with Rose Red and Blushing Bride on my flowers and some Daffodil Delight cotton ribbon to embellish my card.

Next up, is a gorgeous card I received from Lisa Tedder in the same organised swap. You can see more of Lisa’s work here.

You can see that Lisa has used some of the Painted Blooms DSP behind her stamped image and she has stamped the inside of her card making it extra special. I often forget to do that, but it really adds something to a card, doesn’t it?

If you’ve fallen in love with this set, like I did, do get it now as our Spring Summer catalogue finishes on June 2nd – you won’t want to miss this set.

Until next time,
happy crafting,
Eimear

Beautiful cards, especially the top one. I still need to get this set inky before I part with it!
