Saturday was International Scrapbooking Day so I took the opportunity to create a quick page of a favourite page of my little boy at the beach. The Best Route Memories and More cards were the perfect colours to match his digger, the sand and is shorts! I do love using Memories and More cards in my memory-keeping, but they also work great as quick and easy cards, here is an example. But back to my Best Route Scrapbook page..
Tips and Tricks for my Best Route Scrapbook Page
- Pick out time colour palette – for me, the Best Route cards were perfect
- I simply chose one of the Larger Memories and More cards and one of the smaller cards as my decorative panel
- I chopped down a couple of the decorative cards and used the elements as embellishments
- As extra embellishment, I die cut some cogs from the Garage Gears bundle and adhered them to the edges. I also used the oil splatter stamp to add some visual interest to the page and even stamped it over my die-cuts.
And finally, here is a list of all the products I used on todays Best Route Scrapbook page. Do remember that the Best Route Memories and More cards are retiring and will not be available in the new catalogue. As always, don’t forget to use my current Rainbow Rewards Shopping code pictured below at checkout and as a thank you, I will send you a little gift in the post directly from me.
Until next time, happy crafting
