January is a month FULL of birthdays in our house so when I saw this week’s challenge over at the Global Design Project, I had not only the project but the recipient in mind.
It’s my mother’s birthday on the 14th of January and I don’t think she would forgive me if I let slip her age, so Mum’s the word on that one! However, this will be her card… she doesn’t log on too often so am quietly confident I’m not spoiling any surprises. Close your eyes, Mum, if by any chance you have managed to find my blog!!!
This week is a colour challenge and this is our palette.
and here is the card I came up with using the Whitewash technique and the gorgeous colour palette suggested by GDP.
and I added a little bloom on the inside and will add the same bloom to my envelope to tie it all together.
