Finally am back with a quick tip

Stampin Up Garden in Bloom CC&S174-001Goodness me, a thousand apologies!  My last blog post left you with a line saying pop back to see how I created the frame around my punch and almost a week later, I’m only getting round to letting you know how to do it!

I’ve had a few internet issues!  After my previous internet connection pretty much grinding to a halt, we decided it was finally time to change suppliers.  That turned out to be fun and games!

I’ve been trying to switch my email address over to the new one that the new supplier gave me, but that is proving more difficult – weren’t things so much more simple when you only had to worry about postal addresses?!

Anyway, back to showing you a quick trick, so the card in question had a little frame surrounding the decorative label punch, you can see it here…

So, you have your sentiment stamped and punched out with the Decorative Label punch – put that to one side for now.

Next take the card stock you wish to ‘frame’ it with and punch out twice using the Decorative Label punch.  Then take one punched out piece and cut on the ‘outside of the bumps’ and the  second on the ‘onside of the bumps’ as shown here.

Then take the four largest pieces and adhere them to the back of your sentiment. There will be a slight overlap where the pieces meet but it all adds to the charm.

I hope you found that quick tip useful and that it has given extra life to your Decorative Label Punch

until next time, happy crafting
