First Stampin’ Up/Project Life Pages!!

By | June 26, 2014

I am very excited to share my first Project Life pages with you.  They are very basic and I’m sure I will look back at them in months to come and be shocked at how basic they really were (just like I do with my first cards).  However, I just love the system.

It really couldn’t be easier.  You start off with a basic kit of pocket pages and a card collection (I’ve used the Everyday Adventure Collection) that comes in a handy dandy box (extra space for your journaling pens etc)

There are 100 different sized cards within the collection that naturally fit perfectly into the various sized pockets in your pages.

I’ve also used the Everyday Adventure Accessory Pack which contains all this!

There are also co-ordinating stamp sets and framelit dies but I was in such a hurry to create my first pages, and so excited with the results, I haven’t even used them yet.

So here are my first pages…

I will come back at a later date and jazz them up a bit but for now, I am so delighted to finally getting caught up on LIFE. I think it’s a fantastic system. It’s a step-up from a plain old photo album allowing for a bit of explanation and journaling and more memory-keeping (don’t you hate it, when you look back on old photos and haven’t a clue where you were or who is in the photo with you!?? – or is that just me?!).

Yet, it’s not as time-consuming as traditional scrap-booking. Perfect for someone with not a lot of time on their hands, or if you are already a keen scrap-booker but just need to get caught up quickly on certain gaps or events. You can take it as far as you want. You can stamp and punch and embellish to your hearts content. Or you can just pop in your photos and your journaling and run! Plus nothing is stuck down so you can move things around if you ever need to! I love it!

Here are links to the items used – give it a try, I am positive you won’t be disappointed!
