Global Design Project 072 – Lift me Up to Cloud Nine

By | January 30, 2017

I have neglected to join in on a challenge for quite a while now, so after seeing the latest challenge on the Global Design Project I decided it was time!  This week we are CASE-ing the very talented Krista Frattin and here is her original card.

It is my daughter’s ninth birthday tomorrow and ever since I spotted the sentiment in the Lift Me Up stamp set, I knew I wanted to use it on her birthday card this year. She is still at the age where she loves everything pink and sparkly but I’m guessing not for much longer, so this year I am taking full advantage!!

I’ve taken the layout of Krista’s card as my inspiration, with a central focus on the balloon and sentiment against the background of clouds and number nine.

The Lift Me Up bundle is truly beautiful and perfect for a whole variety of occasions.
The larger balloon die is so intricate yet cuts perfectly, I loved using metallics with it and having the glimmer paper showing through it.

Don’t forget any purchase of £45 will earn you a FREE product from the SALE-a-bration brochure. One of the FREE products available is DSP that coordinates perfectly with this bundle – and it’s not pink or sparkly!! Check it out!

Here is a list of everything I used today.

I do hope you like my card today, do leave if a comment if you’ve time as I’d love to hear from you.

Until next time, happy crafting,
Eimear
