More Christmas card ideas using White Christmas from Stampin’ Up

By | October 5, 2014

I had to return to my favourite set from this year’s Christmas catalogue – White Christmas – as I hadn’t used all the elements yet!

This time I decided to use the car with a Christmas tree on top. I fussy cut it and gave it some dimension with a dimensional behind it.

Stampin' Up White Christmas car-001

It was a very quick and easy card to make. I used the Blendabilities markers to colour in my car and Christmas tree and just normal Stampin’ write markers for the other trees and car wheels.

My snow is Dazzling Diamonds stuck down with my 2-way glue pen and ta-dah – all done!

Quick and easy for a Sunday morning, a card you could easily reproduce en masse – have a great day wherever you are!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful design. It really inspired me to make Christmas cards (I know – I am so late!). I had all of the supplies on hand and I just made, addressed, stamped and sent out 8 of them this afternoon. I feel so good sending out at least a handful of cards and I just love how they turned out. I wanted to reach out and let you know that they were a success and that I really appreciate the inspiration! Merry Christmas! 🙂

I love the way you did your White Christmas scene! The car with the Christmas tree on top, looks great! I have just received the White Christmas stamp set & tried to do the Car with the Christmas tree on top. Mine didn’t turn out. My tree does not sit properly on top of the car. Is there some special way of putting it on? I did an entire scene on my E clear acrylic block, from Stampin’ UP. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Hopefully you can explain in more detail, what you did.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
    Jane

Hello Jane, nice to hear form you – it’s a great set isn’t it?! I stamped mine separately. So I stamped the background trees first on an E block like you, and then on a separate piece of whisper white, I stamped firstly the car, and then stamped the tree on top. As they’re photopolymer it was easy to line up and no need for a stamp-a-ma-jig! Then I cut these out as one piece. Hope that helps, kind regards, Eimear
