Onstage 2018 Swaps and Gifts

If you follow me on Facebook or indeed any other demonstrators, you have probably seen most of what we got up to a couple of weeks ago at our Onstage 2018 gatherings around the world.  I showed you my Onstage 2018 swap recently and even made a video about to recreate it.  I also showed you the little gifts that I made my team. Today I would like to show you… Read More »

Start the week with Simple Stamping – Santa’s Workshop

I’m a huge fan of the Santa’s Workshop suite – you may have seen it before in a more complicated card. However, I also wanted to feature it in my Simple Stamping series.  In fact, there is very little stamping in this card at all, so it’s a very gentle introduction to stamping in card making, If you had the co-ordinating framelits, you could die-cut the elves straight from the… Read More »

Simple Stamping with the Joyous Noel Suite

Following on from my sneak peek post yesterday I decided to use this layout for a second card.  Tis time, I’m back to our current products and also back on a Christmas theme.  I adore the Joyous Noel suite and just had to use the beautiful copper DSP. It is so stunning in real life – the pictures in the catalogue do not convey just how gorgeous it is. I hope… Read More »

Incredible Like You meets Frosted Floral DSP

While we were at our recent Onstage gathering, we were reminded that not all of our class attendees have craft stashes the same size as ours! What?!! No, I jest! I know I am lucky to have lots of space and a lot of stash but we were reminded to go back to our roots and try some simple stamping. This is not easy for me! My supply lists are… Read More »

Onstage 2018 Part Two – Team Gifts

I was lucky to have 8 of my team join me for Onstage 2018 in Birmingham last weekend. It’s the perfect opportunity to treat them to a little gift.  I love to go to town a bit on the packaging – not least because I know, as crafters, they will really appreciate it. Equally, I know they will also love working out what I’ve used. We have the fabulous linen… Read More »

My Onstage swaps to celebrate Stampin’ Up’s 30th Birthday

This weekend marked the end of Stampin’ Up’s 30th Birthday year-long celebrations.  We partied all over the world from Orlando in the States, to Brisbane in Oz and Birmingham here in the UK amongst other locations!  It is traditional at Stampin’ Up! events to swap card fronts and project ideas (totally optional but fun!) and I thought I’d show you the swap I’d made. After falling in love with embossing… Read More »

Santa’s Workshop Wiper Card for Enjoy the Little Things Video Hop

Welcome to this month’s Enjoy the Little Things Video  Blog Hop where our theme is Interactive/Pop-up projects. I decided to use Santa’s Workshop to create a fun ‘Wiper’ card.  I must admit this is the first time I’ve ever made a wiper card, but it certainly won’t be the last. I’m already delving through my stash to see what sets would be fun to use in this style.   As… Read More »

Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop – Masculine Healing Hugs Get Well Card

It’s the last Saturday of the month, so it must be the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop.  As we’re all busy ladies during the summer – and three of the team are off seeing the sights in. Welcome to this month’s Enjoy the Little Things Video Blog Hop where our theme is all things Masculine.  As my husband’s birthday was coming up, it was the perfect opportunity to get ahead of the game and make a Masculine Birthday card.   It’s a fairly simple card as overly fussy is not his thing, but I wanted to show you how versatile the Broadway Bound suite is.  You may… Read More »

This week’s challenge at the Global Design Project is a colour challenge.  Fresh Fig, Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron.  I’m  typing this up on my phone as my computer has died so not sure how to copy across the GDP graphic, hence the list of challenge colours.  When I saw these colours I immediately thought of Tropical Chic. Here was what I came up with Tips and Tricks for my… Read More »

Broadway Bound for Stampin’ Creative June Blog Hop

Our theme this month is Party Time – and what better suite than Broadway Bound?! It screams PARTY from the rooftops – the party can be any sort of a celebration though some of the sentiments are more suited towards Birthdays.  I’ve chosen to make mine a Birthday card as I chose the candle DSP. And here it is… I do love Monochrome cards, so this Black, White and Gold… Read More »

Healing Hugs Get Well Card for my Mum

I was scheduled to have my monthly Mum and Me class on Monday and ironically I had designed a Get Well card using Healing Hugs. I have had a rollercoaster few days where my Mum was taken seriously ill and rushed to hospital.  As it stands today, things have slightly improved but we can only take one day at a time. If you pray, I would please ask you to… Read More »

Itty Bitty Greetings for a Rooted in Nature Sympathy Card

Let’s face it, no-one wants to have to make a sympathy card because it symbolises the passing of a life.  However, it is a card that will undoubtedly convey our sympathies and feelings when words are sometimes just not enough at this difficult time.  There are 32 different sentiments in Itty Bitty Greetings and ‘Love and Sympathy’ was perfect for this occasion.  I have also stamped ‘Sending Prayers’ from the… Read More »
