You may remember on a previous post, I told you I had used that layout recently in class. I used it in a class that I hold on the third Monday of the month and we mainly make Quick and Easy Class cards.
Here is the other card I created using that same layout – amazing how a simple change of DSP and colour can totally change the card – it’s hardly recognisable! Here is the first card from the previous post.
My Monday card class uses simple layouts. It started as a Mum and Me class, though we welcome anyone at all – with or without a baby! As it was started for Mums with babes in arms, I kept the designs simple and less time consuming. This way they were quick and easy to create even while nursing a baby! I try to vary the supplies used and give everyone different layouts and techniques to try.
Here is the full line-up of Quick and Easy class cards
So while we do make Quick and Easy class cards, my attendees still get to try heat embossing, dry embossing, die-cutting and fussy cutting!
If you fancy coming along to one of my classes, do check the class calendar.
I also have an upcoming retreat that I run with my downline Caroline Thomas from Craft with Caro. This will be held at Lydiard Park just outside Swindon. It is perfectly situated almost half way between London and Cardiff not far from the M4 with excellent rail links too. You can read more details about what we have planned here.
Do get in touch if you would like to reserve your place for either day or for both (with 10% off your second day!)
