Scrapbooking Global April 2019 Blog Hop – Spring Flowers

By | April 25, 2019

This month, we are using Spring Flowers as our theme for the April Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. You may have arrived from Courtenay Heuston, (wasn’t her page great?) or this may well be your first stop, but either way, you are very welcome with me, Eimear Carvill at Stamp in Colour in the UK. For my page today, I have chosen two different Spring Flower products; the Colourful Seasons stamp set and the Country Floral Embossing Folder.

So without further ado, here is my page.  This gorgeous photo was taken two years ago this month with our old dog, Murphy.  Unfortunately, he has since passed away but my daughter will be delighted with this page as we all still talk about him often.

Her multi-coloured top was the source of my colour inspiration. I tried various colours but the photo suited Melon Mambo the best and I found the perfect colours in the How Sweet it is DSP.

I also found the perfect Spring Flowers in the Colorful Seasons stamp set. They compliment the flowers in the Country Floral embossing folder really well.  I highlighted them by sponging the raised areas in Melon Mambo.

I do hope you liked my page today, please hop on to our next contributor, the fab Lisa Hendersen in Canada, by clicking on the link below. If you get lost along the way the full line-up is listed below.

And finally…

As always, I have listed all the products I used on todays project below.  If you wish to purchase anything, simply click on the pic and it will bring you to that item in my shop.  Don’t forget to use the Rainbow Rewards shopping code pictured below to receive a free gift in the post directly from me. Nicely done with the added embossing and sponged ink. Sorry to hear of your dog’s passing, they are so hard to lose. Now your daughter can enjoy her memories often. She might even want it put in a frame for her room or the hallway collage of family photos.

I love the simplicity of this layout as you are really wanting the photo to be the centre of attention.
Perfect compliment is the Melon Mambo colour down the side and the spray of flowers.
