This week’s challenge on Pals Paper Arts is a colour challenge and I must admit, this one had me stumped for a while. I could do any two of the three purples, but add in a third and I just wasn’t sure where to put it.
My original ideas for the sketch were floored as they just didn’t seem to work, but introducing a hint of gold seemed to make it all come together – I hope you agree…
So here’s my card…
I’ve used a base of Purple Plum and a matt of Elegant Eggplant. Then I’ve used my Blackberry Bliss for my You from the Hello You Thinlits and the ‘Amaze Me’ from the Crazy about You stamp set – best value stamp set we have IMHO – just so many combinations of sentiments!! and in a 15% off bundle with the Hello you Thinlits – woohoo!!!
Speaking of Thinlits, they are a cinch to use on a Big Shot with the Magnetic Platform which is reduced in our weekly deals this week – have a look here. And while we’re talking bargains, don’t forget our newly restocked clearance rack!!
I’ve used various different sized stars in Gold Foil and Blackberry Bliss cut or punched with the Star Framelits, the star punch from the Itty Bitty Accents pack and the Confetti Star Punch.
