Stampin’ Creative May Blog Hop – Sneak Peaks!!

By | May 28, 2016

I know I say this every month but I really can’t believe how quickly 2016 is flying by!  Here we are in the final days of May and moments away from the unveiling of our brand new catalogue – are you excited?!?!

You may have arrived from Caro, or this may be your first stop, either way you are very welcome.  So we thought we’d give you a little sneak peak into some of the new items that will be available to purchase from Tuesday.

As a demonstrator, we are very lucky to have been able to play with a selection of new goodies for the last month.  Each time a new catalogue launches I order bits and pieces from a suite – and rarely order the whole suite then instantly regret it when I see other demonstrator samples – I never learn!!  This time has been no different as you will see from my cards…

I, along with countless others, have fallen in love with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits  – but I didn’t get the stamp set – I know, I know – I now regret it (don’t make the same mistake!!)  I thought I would show you a couple of different style cards using the Playful Palette DSP stack.  Firstly, a monochrome Congratulations card.

Some of the patterns are quite crazy in this DSP – but for every crazy pattern, there is quite a muted version on the other side and this is one of those particular patterns.  I do love a Black/White card or in this case Black/Vanilla and I normally pair it with a pop of pink (pardon the pun!!) or Real Red but this time I left it alone.

Next up, we have a baby card – not what springs to mind, believe me, when you first see this DSP stack!  But I do think this Blushing Bride and Very Vanilla combo lend themselves very well to a Baby card.  I’ve also repurposed some of the inner swirls from my first card in this one – very frugal, my downline Ali would be very proud of me.

And finally, I have a Spinner card.  I was lucky enough to win this stamp set in Prize Patrol at our Onstage Event in April and I can’t wait to receive the corresponding Sliding Star framelits. However, for now, I used the retiring Circles collection.

Do please hop around the rest of our team and leave us a comment as we really love to hear from you.  I can’t include all the links to the products I used this time, as they will not be live until Tuesday but feel free to pop back as I will update my links with the new products.

Your appetite will be well and truly whetted by visiting all the Stampin’ Creative team and if your wish list is half as big as mine, consider treating yourself to a starter kit.  From June 1st you can purchase a starter kit for £99 full of the products you want from the new catalogue valued at £130, then…. wait for it, you can add a further two stamp sets of your choice?!!  Even better you could host a party for me, either physical or virtual and use your hostess rewards to pay for your starter kit!!! What a deal!!

Do hop on to Kim by clicking on our Stampin’ Creative button and if you get lost the full line-up is below.

Love the spinner card, the stamps seem so simple on their own but you’ve shown how amazing they can be!

Great collection Eimear … Equally I can’t decide my favourite. They all work so well for the occasion they’ve been designed for, just goes to show how versatile your stash supplies can be with a little thought. Well done x

Your spinner card is such fun Eimear! My favourite card is difficult to pick though – do I go super chic and monochrome? Or that oh, so gentle, baby card? I really can’t choose. Both clever in their simplicity – very nice! x

Great projects, Eimear! I especially like the first card – I think it might be because I like the Swirly Birds so much! I also love the classy and classic colour combination. A great trio of cards, showing off what we have got to look forward too. Great photos, too. I need to learn some lessons from you! Caro x
