Stampin’ Up Timeless Textures for CAS Challenge #165

By | March 18, 2016

Just a quick post from me today, with a very Quick and Easy card for CAS #165.Β  This week, it’s a colour challenge – something I don’t always find very easy.

However, I just received Timeless Textures and wanted to try it out.

Here are the colours.

And here is the card I came up with using Timeless Textures.

And a close up of the Heart…

And one for luck!

Hope you like it and that it has given you some ideas and inspiration for your own crafting projects.

As always,Β here is everything I used.

Don’t forget SAB is in it’s final days but there is still time to take advantage of our free product offer

Love this clean and simple design in the challenge colours. The texture stamps give a vintage feel too. Thanks for joining us at CC&S

Like Jane said – the crispness of the heart emblem is a nice contrast to the aged look of the background stamps. It’s great to see you playing along with us at CC&S – I’ve missed you and your artwork! πŸ™‚

Love the heart banner and I do like the timeless textures although I’m trying to ignore that part of the card (since I don’t have that stamp set currently…). Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Colours & Sketches and I hope to see you next week when it’s a sketch challenge. No excuses! Liz x

Does three kids with chicken pox not count as a good excuse 😱?! Will do my best – will definitely be needing some me time!

Timeless Textures is such a useful set – I’ve been loving it and it looks great in Marina Mist. You’ve used such an interesting contrast between the shabby romantacism of Timeless Textures and the modern sassiness of heart and banner,

Gorgeous background stamp and I love the contrast of its smudginess with the clear cut lines of the heart banner. Thanks for joning in at CC&S.
