I enjoyed the Pals Paper Art Challenge so much last week, I decided to take part again this week.
This time it was a sketch challenge so we have to come up with a card following the elements in the sketch. I hope it’s ok but I flipped the sketch and did a vertical version instead of horizontal and used my brand new stamp Baby Bumblebee – it is just so cute!
I’ve used Crumb Cake as my base with a hint of Whisper White before I dry embossed my So Saffron Layer with the Honeycomb embossing folder. When I first got my stamp, I cut off the sentiment so I could use it wherever I wanted it. I then stamped the Baby Bumblebee in Stazon and coloured in my stripes with a So Saffron marker. This was then cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits and I put some Crystal Effects on his wings. It just adds a hint of sparkle!
I used a layer of Crumb Cake behind the image and punched both ends with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I threaded my Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon through the holes to secure it and used dimensionals to pop it up.
I then used the Banner Framelits to cut out my three banners using the sentiment and the hearts from Little Sunshine. I hope you like my entry, do leave a comment and tell me what you think.
