Stampin’ Up Bloom with Hope Thank you card – Made by my 7 year old!

By | February 6, 2015

Proud Mummy alert!

You may already have seen this on my Facebook page but I am so proud of my 7ear old that I had to share here too.  It was her Birthday last week, so the time had come for the thank you cards.

She didn’t want my quick solution of ‘ pick your favourite card in my studio and let’s make it’.  She insisted on designing her own.  So she sat down to sketch her idea…

I’d like to say she inherited her organisational skills from me, but I rarely sit down to sketch my cards before starting!! She then decided she wanted pink and came up with the coordinating colour by looking at her top!

I picked out some of my floral stamps for her and she selected Bloom with Hope, a gorgeous hostess set – what a good choice! She then chose her colours – Blushing Bride, Pear Pizazz and So Saffron – and off she went – this is the result!

Don’t know about you, but I’m pretty impressed, though I admit I’m quite biased!

Do leave a comment so I can show her.

Until next time, happy crafting,
Eimear

Its allowed that you’re a proud mummy and quite rightly so. Definitely a good job. I think possibly next time you’re stuck for ideas perhaps ask the creative one and how clever to use a jumper for inspiration.
