Stampin’ Up Christmas Crafternoon!

By | November 23, 2014

So Saturday was the day of my Christmas Crafternoon!  I don’t do these events very often, but I really enjoy them.

Having four hours together gives me the opportunity to showcase projects we wouldn’t normally have time for in a normal weekday class.  So what did we get up to this time, well you may remember my sneak peak photos from a couple of weeks ago, but if not here they are again. I got the tree idea from Fran Sabad, a US demo, who made a similar style some time ago.

I had seen these Framed Art style of samplers in various places and thought some of the sets in this year’s seasonal catalogue were just perfect to create a piece for Christmas. Here is a close up of one of the sections.

We also made a cute little treat box – perfect for some after dinner mints or even a battery tealight to glow on your mantelpiece. So easy to make with our curvy keepsake die – just cut two pieces, decorate how you wish and stick together – ta-dah!

Another, and possibly my favourite project was this little lantern made using the Holiday Home stamp set and matching framelits.

The great thing about this project is it uses the Holiday Home stamp set and framelit set which is available to purchase together in a bundle at 15% off!

Don’t forget, my last week of Christmas card classes takes place the second week of December, though you can book a private class at any time, just get in touch.

Until next time, happy crafting!
