Stampin’ Up! Colour Change for Morning Meadow

By | May 5, 2014

So how is your Bank Holiday weekend going?  I hope you are enjoying it and managing to get some time for yourself.  We have been pretty busy this weekend with Town Fairs and children’s Birthday parties, but all good fun.  If the weather would just hold out for today, then that would be fantastic!

Yesterday’s post showed a case of a card by Cindy Techlin in Smoky Slate and Strawberry Slush, you can see that post here.

I wanted to show you how much a change of colour can change a card.

Today, I stamped my ‘blossom’ image in Baked Brown Sugar onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.  I then stamped the Pansy image in Crisp Cantaloupe and added a piece of Stretch Ruffle Trim in Crisp Cantaloupe.

I did forget to add a key element into my product list yesterday and it is an essential part of any crafter’s stash.  In fact, not sure how I managed to stamp in a straight line prior to purchasing it (mmm, maybe I didn’t stamp in a srtaight line?!?!)  Have you guessed?  Yes, the Stamp-a-ma-jig!  That little piece of plastic that can save your project from wonky images every single time.

Here is what you will need to recreate the card:

Which version do you prefer?

Leave me a comment and let me know and until next time, make the most of the rest of the long weekend!
