Stampin’ Up – Final card from Technique Tuesday

By | September 14, 2014

I hope you all enjoyed yesterday’s Stampin’ Stars Blog Hop, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, a blog hop is where a group of us design a couple of projects, post them on our blogs and then link all our blogs to each other so you can hop from one project to another without fiddling about with blog addressees.  You can go directly to the blog hop by clicking here.

Today’s project is my final card from my Technique class earlier this week.  This card was cased directly from US demo, Patty Bennet.  You can see Patty’s card complete with instructions here.  I fell in love with her card, love the stamp set and as I was highlighting the sponging technique in my Tuesday night class, I really wanted to showcase this card.

Stampin' Up Seasonally Scattered CASE-001

It was quite a quick card to make and as with any sponging, the depth of colour you achieve, depends on the amount of colour you have on your sponge and how long you sponge it for. Just remember to sponge off the excess ink on some scrap paper before taking the sponge to your card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project and gives you some ideas and inspiration for your own projects.

Here is a list of everything I used if you would like to make your own version
