Stampin Up – More Christmas Card Inspiration with Bright and Beautiful

By | October 13, 2014

I am going to share another card from my Fast and Fabulous class this week.  As I mention a lot, White Christmas has to be my favourite stamp set from this year’s Seasonal Catalogue but Bright and Beautiful is fast catching up.  I’ve also become more and more fond of Night and Navy.  I must admit, I’ve only used it as an accent colour before, rather than basing my whole card around it.  However, it really does make for a striking Christmas card, IMHO! I hope you agree.

I did see a similar version to this card somewhere, however, the creator used Red,with Gold and Gold Embossing. I do apologise that I did not note the name of the lady who created it, I’m usually quite good at noting those whose designs have inspired me. So, if it were you, do leave me a comment so I can rectify that.

I chose a Whisper White/Night of Navy colour combination coupled with a flash of silver for that Christmas sparkle. I have to say that one of my ladies mixed up her colours and used one of the other card bases imstead which just happened to be Elegant Eggplant – it was another beautiful colour combination for this card.

Again, as I used it in my Fast and Fabulous class, it is a quick card to make and by using the Star Framelits and the Big Shot, you can prepare several of the Whisper White layers at once. Great for those production lines needed at this time of the year.

As always, here is a list of everything needed to make this card.

I hope today’s card has provided you with some ideas for your own Christmas crafting. If you would like to know any more about any of the products used, please leave me a comment or get in touch via email.

Until next time, happy crafting,

Eimear
