There is also a co-ordinating punch but I haven’t used it here.  This bundle will retire with the end of the catalogue and will be available withy a whopping 50% off when the retirement list comes… Read More »

Glitter and Glamour with Approaching Perfection

It’s the final Thursday of the month, so it must mean it’s time for the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop! This month our theme is Glitter and Glamour and I must admit I was first stumped. But then, out of the corner of my eye, I spied one of our Sale-a-bration sets, Approaching Perfection, that was out on my desk and decided to make a couple of very glamorous Birthday… Read More »

Give them a Gift of Cards – Feels Like Frost DSP Cards and Matching Gift Box

I made a gorgeous (if I say so myself) box yesterday to house a set of cards all using the Feels Like Frost DSP.  It appeared on the Retiring List at 50% off – not sure if it’s still there. If it is, GET IT!! It’s so beautiful, but if not you can easily swap out the DSP and the cardstock colours to suit whatever you have to hand. You… Read More »

I’m taking part in a video hop with the Stamp Around UK team where our theme is Shimmer Sparkle and Shine.  I pretty much took the ‘sparkliest’ products I own and put them together in a Blingtastic card! Firstly the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper – I cant believe this is the first project I have used this on. It is amazing!  Such a gorgeous shade and the sparkle and shine … Read More »

Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin Alternative Ideas

I had a great class on Saturday where we got together online to make up the Joy to the World Paper Pumpkin kit. It is such a great kit – the suggested layouts are superb – I wasn’t even tempted to go ‘off piste’ when making the cards themselves.  However, I’ve had a lot of fun with the stamp set since I’ve completed the kit and used it on my… Read More »

Stargazing in Seaside Spray

I thought I would share with you a card I made as part of our WLCR Retreat last summer. Sitting outside in the warm sun seems such a long time ago now. This card was part of our afternoon Stamp-a-Stack session and uses the gorgeous Stargazing stamp set.  I chose this set many for the dreamy Milky Way stamp but the sentiments are also great, especially for me, with young… Read More »

Saying Goodbye with Wedding Anniversary Cards

I was asked to make a couple of wedding anniversary cards for a friend to celebrate some milestone wedding anniversaries.  I turned to some retiring (and maybe a couple of retired) products.  Goodbyes are never easy, but I know I will have some new favourites very soon once the new catalogue comes out. Wedding Anniversary Card no 1 My first anniversary card uses some retired DSP from Sale-a-bration last year.… Read More »

Tropical Chic Birthday Swap

We are just back from a fabulous weekend at Stampin’ Up’s Onstage 2019 in Telford.  As it was my daughters’ birthday on the Sunday, I only stayed one night so it was a very fun-filled 24 hours! The lovely, Jennifer Holland, a visiting demo from the US organised a fancy card swap.  I chose to create a Tropical Chic birthday card as I knew this set was carrying over to… Read More »

Broadway Bound Birthday for GDP#180

We are asked to case the fantastic Stesha Bloodhart in this week’s Global Design Project Challenge.  You can see Stesha’s original card below.  Her row of three pretty vases was my inspiration.. I was immediately inspired to create a Birthday card with three candles in a row. The Broadway Bound bundle was crying out to be inked up for my idea of three candles in a row. Here is the… Read More »

Happy Birthday with Broadway Bound

We recently celebrated a milestone birthday in our family, so it was time to make a very special Birthday card. It took a brave cut of the Broadway Bound DSP – this number page is my favourite!  I made an extra large Birthday card so all the family could sign it.  Sometimes I find it easier to cut the DSP when it’s for a larger project – do you find… Read More »

So our theme this month with the Stampin’ Creative crew is White Christmas.  This could be taken literally or loosely – I’ve gone for the latter and made a White Christmas wreath. I would also like to welcome the very lovely Emilie Poncelet to our hop this morning all the way from Canada. I’ve modelled it on a wreath… Read More »

And here it is… I do love Monochrome cards, so this Black, White and Gold… Read More »
