I have a beautiful card to share with you today using the Lotus Blossom set that you can earn for FREE during Sale-a-bration.
I got the colour combination idea after first having seen a similar card on Beth McAlexander’s blog and decided it would make a perfect Birthday card for my Mum. I think I’m safe enough posting this card ahead of her Birthday as don’t think she looks at my blog too often!
The Lotus Blossom is a three step stamp set. It’s photopolymer so lining up the three stamps is really easy. My base layer and largest stamp was stamped in Soft Sky and the second layer used Pool Party. The final layer and smallest stamp used Lost Lagoon. It makes such a beautiful flower with so much depth, and there are so many different colour combinations you can try.
In fact, you don’t need to use three different colours, you can stamp the three stages in the one colour but stamping off for your lighter layers in order to get various shades and you will still get the most beautiful flower.
I have stamped the stem and greeting from Memorable Moments in Crumb Cake and just embellished with some linen thread and a bit of paper piercing.
I hope you like today’s card, please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts. Don’t forget any order over £45 qualifies for this stamp set for FREE, I think it makes a fantastic addition to anyone’s collection. Until next time, happy crafting

LOVE this card! I made a card very similar, using your idea for inspiration; first time using this stamp set. I was a bit intimidated, but it turned out great! Thanks!
Thanks Dianna, can be a bit tricky the first time but you soon get used to it. I initially tried using the larger stamp first but I’ve now found it is so much easier to use the small stamp first.
Stunning card, love the colours x
Thank you Karen, it’s a combination I keep coming back to, but hadn’t thought of adding Lost Lagoon until I saw Beth’s.
Lovely delicate card, do like the colours used 😀
Thanks Trace, I do love this colour combination 🙂
