Two challenges in as many days, I’m quite proud of myself!! It’s a bit like buses, waiting around for ages for two to come at once!
Anyway, this week’s challenge at the Global Design Project was a colour challenge.
I mulled it over for a while and the candy canes just jumped out at me! So I played about at making a wreath on a door and this is what I came up with.
The Pillow Box Framelits include this candy cane framelit which make a project like this very quick and easy – not sure I would want to fussy cut twelve candy canes! But this set is on the retiring list so get it quick before it goes forever!
Here is everything I used on today’s card

Hi Eimer! This is such a fun, vibrant card! The red glimmer paper sets it off nicely! Thank you so much for playing along to the Global Design Project this week. xo
Wow! What a fun card. I love all the candy canes around the circle. They stand out well against the woodgrain background. Thanks for playing along with Global Design Project.
Eimeer – This card could not have been any more fun than it is! What a great idea to line up all the candy canes around your central sentiment! Love it. Thank you so much for playing along with this week’s color challenge for the Global Design Project.
Thanks Brian! It was fun to make it, delighted you like it.
I love your fun and yummy take on a Christmas wreath Eimear! The colours fit perfectly with our colour challenge this week! Thank goodness we have dies that can cut all those candy canes! Thanks so much for playing at Global Design Project.
