Last Wednesday we met at the fabulous Bull Hotel in Fairford for my Cards and a Cuppa session. We meet every second Wednesday and last Friday of the month – school holidays permitting! I thought I would share with you the cards we made during our last session.
We used the masking technique to create these cards, masking off certain areas with sticky notes.
With this card, we left an area free so that we could stamp various blooms from the Bloom by Bloom stamp set. I took colour inspiration from an old DSP set called Myths & Magic DSP. This is a super colour combination and I think it worked really well with the floral blooms. The card was finished off with a punched out sentiment and some punched flowers using the Bitty Blooms punch pack.
With this card, we masked off an area and stamped around it with the various blooms from Happy Birthday Gorgeous. I used the lighter shades from the retiring In-colours and added in Pool Party to the colour mix.
I hope you liked the cards from my Cards and a Cuppa session. If you would like to join us, we are meeting at 10am this Friday morning (31/05) back at The Bull in Fairford.
And finally, here is a list of all the products I used on the Cards and a Cuppa projects. Don’t forget the 2017-2019 colours are retiring as are the stamp sets I used, so if you like them don’t delay as they will no longer be available as of June 3rd . Don’t forget to use my current Rainbow Rewards Shopping code for May (pictured below) at checkout and as a thank you, I will send you a little gift in the post directly from me.
Until next time, happy crafting
