A quick post to add my card to CAS Challenge no 151. This week was a challenge for me as these are three colours I would not have put together myself and hope I have done them justice, as individually I love them all!
Here are the three colours
And here is the card I came up with. It uses one of the oldest sets in my collection (which is only 2 years old, I hasten to add, so it’s not a classic set just yet!) and if you look closely there is a sneak peek of an upcoming set called Suite Sayings. I received this during Stampin’ Up’s OnStage event in Brussels last weekend and I can see already I will be using it a lot.
I hope you like it, do leave me a comment and let me know what you think as I love to hear from you.
Until next time, happy crafting,
Eimear
Your floral sprays are stamped beautifully and I love the raised flowers. Thanks for joining in with our challenge at CC&S this week. Stef x
Thank you so much Stef. This colour combination was out of my comfort zone but that’s what challenges are all about, and I was quite pleased with the result. Delighted you liked it too.
Elegant and beautiful! The flourishes and the flowers suit the colours so well, along with that lovely silver ribbon. thanks for playing along at CC&S and good luck with the DT call

It’s fair to say this colour combination was a challenge for me, but delighted you like the end result.
The floral sprays are gorgeous! I like that you’ve punched the flowers so that they have dimension. The rhinestones are a sweet finishing touch that complements the ribbon and the mat behind the sentiment. Thanks for sharing your lovely card with us at CC&S! 🙂
Thank you Patricia. It’s a set I don’t use enough but thought it went well with the delicate leaf pattern in the sentiment. So pleased you like it.
I’m really loving how elegant the CC&S colours look on your card. Thanks for playing and good luck with the DT call.
Thanks Jane, Flowering Flourishes had been hidden away for a while but it was on my desk for a recent wedding card and thought I might try it for this one, delighted you like it.
