The brand new 2017-2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue is fantastic; full to the brim of fabulous products but also fantastic inspiration for crafting projects. I want to show you how you can use our catalogue for ideas for your own projects even if you don’t have the specific sets used. We call this Case-ing; it stands for either Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit. We basically take a design and either copy it directly or use it as inspiration either in colours or layout etc and make it our own. In Stampin’ Up! circles, copying is totally acceptable as long as we give credit to the original artist.
CASE-ING the Catalogue No. 1
Here are some great designs from p.35 using the brand new Going Far stamp set. I don’t have that stamp set but I loved how the SU design team had created the tone on tone background so I decided to recreate the card using the Happy Birthday Gorgeous set using lemon Lime Twist and Basic Black.
