Stampin’ Up Spring Summer Catalogue Retiring Too

In the excitement of our Retiring List being released recently, some of you may have forgotten that our Spring Summer Catalogue retires soon too.  These items don’t feature on the retiring list as the whole catalogue will retire, however, we may be lucky with some items carrying over into the annual catalogue. I wanted to show you a couple of cards made with some of my favourite sets from this… Read More »

Baby Boy Card Inspiration

It’s been a long time since I blogged – my little man is keeping me very busy – at all times of the day and night!!  He just turned 4 weeks yesterday – where has the time gone?! Mind you, at this stage of the game, the days are blending into nights and back into days again – I had forgotten how exhausting the early days can be… but as… Read More »

Stampin’ Up – Retired List is here!

So, it’s that time of the year when our new annual catalogue is nearly here, but first we have to make room for those bright and shiny new products by saying a tearful goodbye to some of our current products. Our Retiring List was released yesterday – I have an updated version for you here. This shows some of the items that have already sold out (marked with an X… Read More »

Seeing Stars for PPA 247

This week’s challenge on Pals Paper Arts is a colour challenge and I must admit, this one had me stumped for a while. I could do any two of the three purples, but add in a third and I just wasn’t sure where to put it. My original ideas for the sketch were floored as they just didn’t seem to work, but introducing a hint of gold seemed to make… Read More »

My latest creation and inspiration behind PPA Challenge 245

I thought I would share with you my latest creation and the inspiration behind my winning card on the recent PPA challenge. This was my card and you can read about how I made it here. Baby Finn arrived early Thursday morning and is already a huge hit with his older siblings (and his parents!) as you can see. I’m hoping to get back in my craft room soon and will… Read More »

Something for Baby for PPA Challenge 245

Edited to add, my card was picked in the top three in this week’s challenge, 🙂   I haven’t taken part in a challenge for a few weeks, life has just got in the way – ever find that?! But I’ve just managed to sneak this entry in at the last minute so hope you like it. Our challenge this week was to follow this great sketch challenge from Nicole… Read More »

Secret Garden Door Picture Tutorial

I’ve had a few requests for instructions on my door on the card I posted for the Stampin’ Creative Blog Hop on Saturday so have snapped a few pics and hope it makes sense to you all. You can see the original card here. So I took my piece of Whisper White card, my oval framelits, my Big Shot and my magnetic platform – this is great when you… Read More »

Sale-a-Bration Final Fling!

Last week, I held my Sale-a-bration Final Fling party.  This was a free party for anyone who had joined my team during SAB, or who had spent £150 with me during SAB or hosted an event for during the three months of SAB. I made all my attendees a little gift using the gorgeous Something Borrowed suite of DSP, lace trim and embellishments. It was a scissor charm in one… Read More »

Aces and Diamonds Team Night

I recently held our monthly team get-together.  We usually get together once a month to craft, chat, and swap ideas and inspiration. I wanted to show you the swaps that my talented team made to share.  It’s a little picture heavy so I’ve reduced the size of the photos just so this post is not too hard to read.  Although my details are on the photos, these cards are entirely… Read More »

Creative Blog Hop with Indescribable Gift

Apologies for my lack of recent posts, last week was a little manic!!  I should have (slightly!) more time this week so hope to remedy the lack of posts, firstly with this one. I was nominated by Tracy Elsom in Canada to be part of the Creative Blog Hop.  I came across Tracy’s work through Pinterest, I think, and I cased a card that I fell in love with last… Read More »

Happy Valentine’s Day with PPA challenge 239

This week in the PPA challenge 239 we are invited to create a card using the colours Real Red, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake. With it being half term here and still having my computer issues,I wasn’t sure I would have time to create a card or even upload it to my blog, but blogging on my phone seemed to work yesterday so trying  again today!! It does take a… Read More »

Stampin’ Up Little Buddy Valentine for PPA 238

This week in the PPA Challenge, we are asked to design a card using the above three colours. I decided to ink up Little Buddy Birthday and make a cute little Valentine, suitable for the young and young at heart. I used the Mirror Technique to create two dinosaurs holding some love heart ballooons.  It’s quite an easy technique and can be used for a whole variety of stamps.  I stamped… Read More »

Stampin’ Up Bloom with Hope Thank you card – Made by my 7 year old!

Proud Mummy alert! You may already have seen this on my Facebook page but I am so proud of my 7ear old that I had to share here too.  It was her Birthday last week, so the time had come for the thank you cards. She didn’t want my quick solution of ‘ pick your favourite card in my studio and let’s make it’.  She insisted on designing her own. … Read More »

Stampin’ Up – Team Night Swaps

I promised to show you some of the swaps from our team night last week. First of all, here’s mine.  I love this Sale-a-bration set – FREE with any purchase of £45!  I was still undecided as to the orientation of the card, right up until the last minute – which version do you prefer? I’ve stamped the light bulb and greeting in Memento Ink and coloured in with my Daffodil… Read More »

Stampin’ Up Punch Art for Birthday Cards

It was my eldest daughter’s birthday yesterday and she had requested a Cat Birthday card!  (we’re currently going through a cat obsession!!).  I don’t have any cat stamps so I decided to pull out my punches and create a little punch art. I had to have a quick glance at Pinterest for a little inspiration for my perfect cat, and then had a look round my stash for the perfect… Read More »

Stampin’ Up Hardwood and Hello Life Valentine’s Card

I had originally designed this card for a challenge, but then realised I had missed an element so not sure it would qualify after all 🙁 My fab downline Caroline Thomas gave me this fab set, so had to ink it up immediately.  With a bit of jiggery-pokery and by using the stamp-a-ma-jig, I managed to have the two sentiments link into each other in the recess created by double punching with the… Read More »
