Last night was team night for my team of Aces and Diamonds. We meet once a month for crafting, chat, craic and cheese – lots of cheese!! Did you know that cheese is the perfect companion to crafting?! Some people will disagree with me and say it’s chocolate – don’t believe them!! It’s cheese all the way for the Aces and Diamonds!! I do provide cake for my classes though 😉
Every month we have an optional ‘swap’ where we make up a full sized card – usually the same card multiple times – to share with our fellow team mates. We receive one back from each of the team and leave with lots of inspiration and idea for products. Those who are running a business have have lots of samples using sets that may to have purchased.
This month, I used Colourful Seasons (you may have noticed I LOVE this bundle!!) to make a cosy Autumnal card.
It screams Autumn, doesn’t it? or Fall if you’re reading this from the other side of the pond!
I used a variation on the Stained Glass Window technique for my leaves and I plan to show you on my weekly video this Friday …. a little out of sync with my weekly videos but we’re back on track this week 😉
Isn’t the embossing folder just gorgeous – so much texture on this card. Its one of my favourite cards I’ve produced recently – I hope you like it too.
And as you’ve noticed, I’ve made use of my little cut-off strips from our Thrifty Tips Blog Hop.
Below are all the products I used in this card – don’t forget to pop back soon for a how-to video.
Until next time, happy crafting,
Eimear
