You may have seen my recent post where I showed you a gorgeous Thank you card using Sprinkles of Life and the co-ordinating Tree Builder Punch. Today, I wanted to show you my ‘Crafting with Children’ endeavours where, together with my children, we made a batch of Thank you. These were to thank friends and family for all the Christmas gifts showered upon my children this season.
Each child wanted to put their own spin and – pardon the pun – stamp on it.
Firstly here is my 5 year old daughter’s card using Party Pandas. This was all her own design, I just suggested the stamps for the design she created – and I did stamp the ‘thanks’ as it was a little fiddly for her – but didn’t she do well?
Next up is a card from my 7 year old son.
His colour palette was very fixed which was quite unusual for him. I do love how they come up with their ideas and their choices.
Finally. here is my 9 year old’s card.
We don’t have any French family, in case you are wondering. However, my daughter is learning French at school and she really wanted to illustrate her new-found knowledge.
I have such fun making cards and other projects with my kids and love watching how they plan their cards out. Sometimes, the planning of their projects puts me to shame! I would love to hear if you too enjoy crafting with kids. Do you craft with your kids, or your grandkids or run any children’s clubs or classes?
Here are the current products we used – the washi and the DSP recently retired.
