I decided to enter a few more challenges and have been looking out for other challenges to enter. Emma Goddard, from our Stampin’ Creative crew, is on the design team for Inspire.Create. So it made perfect sense to check out their challenge. This week is a colour challenge and we are asked to use some of the new in-colors so I decided to break out Detailed in Love.
I received this set during our Onstage gathering in Telford way back in April. Whilst I love the sentiments and the fonts, the set is not really my style. I don’t do a lot of whimsical creating and as a result, I had almost forgotten about it. I spotted it on my shelf while thinking about this challenge and I thought it was time to get it out.
Tips and Tricks for my In-Colour Detailed in Love Card
- .My favourite three colours from the In-Colours are the ones I have used; Call Me Clover, Blueberry Bushel and Pineapple Punch. I adhered one strip of each colour to my top Whisper white layer (There is no allegiance to any World Cup football team intended!!)
- I cut three Square Stitched Framelit shapes, two in silver foil and one in Whisper White. My sentiment is stamped in Blueberry Bushel on the Whisper White and I added a couple of decorative stamped images in Call me Clover
- I adhered the two silver squares together and attached my Whipser White square on top.
- My favourite silver metallic thread was all that the card needed as an embellishment.
I hope you like my simple card today. If you would like to purchase anything that I’ve used, everything I’ve used is listed below. I highly recommend the In-Colors if you are a brights fan already. Don’t forget my current Rainbow Rewards Shopping code at checkout to receive a free gift in the post from me.
I’ve attached a link to details of my upcoming retreat at Lydiard Park at the end of the month – booking closes this Sunday
