Two blog posts in one day!!! Wonders will never cease!
I didn’t get a chance to show you this yesterday and today is of course, the Stampin’ Creative blog hop day, so I just had to blog twice!!
This week’s challenge at the Global Design Project was Fairground – but the images used in the title image teaser pictured below made me think more of circus with the Big Top so that’s what I went with…
I didn’t have the more obvious stamp sets in this year’s catalogue, but I thought the Every day Hero characters would make great Trapeze artists.
So without further ado, here is my Trapeze artist with a little safety net – just in case…
- I used Night of Navy cardstock and embossed the ‘spotlights’ in white. My trapeze is a cocktail stick with some Whisper White baker’s twine looped around it.
- You may wonder where my safety net comes from. I was quite delighted when I noticed the little grid stamp from Timeless Textures – perfect for a safety net. The edge is of course a Stitched Shape Framelit oval.
- Finally for a little bit of visual interest, I added a strip of Sale-a-bration ribbon (FREE with a £45 purchase until March 31st) – I love this ribbon!!!
I hope you like my entry and do pop back to the GDP page to see the other entries – there are some truly fabulous ones this week.
Here is everything I used in today’s project. Don’t forget a £45 purchase will earn you a FREE Sale-a-bration product but only until March 31st.
