I made a gorgeous (if I say so myself) box yesterday to house a set of cards all using the Feels Like Frost DSP. It appeared on the Retiring List at 50% off – not sure if it’s still there. If it is, GET IT!! It’s so beautiful, but if not you can easily swap out the DSP and the cardstock colours to suit whatever you have to hand.
You can watch the video below to see exactly how I made the Feels Like Frost box and cards
Whether you’re a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator or indeed a Stampin’ Up! customer, you will no doubt be in love with Stampin’ Up! papers. Many of us are guilty of hoarding our papers because we feel they’re too pretty to even use. We like to look at them and save them for that extra special project, and sometimes no project is special enough!! Then we see more paper appear in the new catalogue and think oh no, but I’ve too much paper. As Kylie Bertucci in Australia would say, Love it Chop It! It’s there to be USED!
This DSP carried over from last year so I do feel justified in using it for a project lol. And I wanted to show you 4 easy layouts for coordinating cards using DSP. Then you can make a pretty gift box to house your cards. This would make a great gift for someone for Christmas or Birthday. You could even give some Thank you cards to a new Mum!
Best Christmas Present Ever
I hope you enjoy the video and give the box a try. My lovely friend Pauline Barnfather from I, Create Craft shared the pizza box instructions with me way back in June in a team event. Thats the great thing about being a demonstrator, everyone is so willing to share ideas. Everyone has different strengths too so it’s great to learn from the colouring expert, or the 3D expert or the simple stamper or the punch art expert etc etc. Joining Stampin’ Up and my team of Aces and Diamonds would make a great Christmas present to yourself – best present I ever gave myself!!
Here are all the details on the products I used for the various cards. There are quite a lot as I used various bits that were lying around on my desk.
Do use the current host code if you would like to make a purchase. You can find it on the right hand tool bar.
Until next time, happy crafting
