Welcome to this month’s Stampin Creative Blog Hop where we have challenged ourselves to follow a sketch. I’ve been playing with the upcoming Hand-Penned suite for a swap I’m involved in and couldn’t resist having another play for this challenge. I love this suite so much and if I’m honest, it was a last minute addition to my pre-order – thank goodness I added it!!
Here is the sketch that Louise set up for us
And here is my take on it…
I’ve used various elements from the Hand-Penned suite. You may not recognise the ‘DSP’ and you would be right because I’ve used the Memories and More cards and envelopes and the striped ‘DSP’ is actually an envelope that I chopped!
I changed the size of the card to be a standard UK size, so I felt within my rights to chop up an extra envelope lol!
The DSP is so pretty and the Memories and More cards are even prettier! They’re great for memory-keeping but make such quick and easy cards too. I did dress them up a bit more by using the co-ordinating stamps and dies. Some of the dies fit the stamps and then some are a little more whimsical like the one I’ve used here.
I hope you liked my take on the challenge this morning. I can’t link any of the products until the catalogue goes live next week, but I do hope that that the Hand-Penned suite will make it into your collection. in the meantime, do hop on to your next contributor to see how they interpreted Louise’s sketch.
See you next month!
Love it! Isn’t it hard cutting those Memories & More cards??? Great use of the suite!
But worth it!
Gorgeous!! I love how you layered all of the elements.
thank you Julie
