This week over at CASE-ing Tuesday, we are asked to be inspired by the following design. As I’m a Last-minute Lucy, I thought I would take this opportunity to surprise my kids with some Valentines cards. When they home from school after their swimming lessons, they will find a handstamped Valentine’s card waiting for them at their places for dinner.
So I took the main look of the card and simply used the three hearts on the DSP as my focal point along with a handstamped sentiment in the centre. I made two versions – do you think I chose the right one as my entry?
This is the card I plan to give my daughters as I think the Flirty Flamingo makes it a little more feminine.
And this one is going to my sons.
I think the Crumb Cake base making it a little more masculine? What do you think?
And here they are together…
I hope you like my Handstamped Valentine’s card today, and I hope my children get a pleasant surprise on their return – they were laughing with me that they were all Single Pringles this morning. I should think so too as my eldest is only 11, lol!!
