I took part in a quick Facebook challenge today called Case-ing Tuesday. The challenge co-ordinator puts up a card to case every week and we make our own version inspired by the card. The original card uses Happiness Blooms so I was inspired to mix it up a little and make a Happiness Blooms Thank you card.
Here was the original card from the Stampin’ Up! catalogue
and the sketch to follow
I chose one of the speciality cards from the Happiness Blooms Memories and More pack. All the circles are textured and shiny – it’s a really fun card!
I felt the card suited a large white embossed sentiment really well. Friendly Expressions has some great sentiments and the Thank you one was just perfect for the size. I swapped out the ribbon used in the original sample and used a few enamel dots instead as an embellishment.
I can’t wait to make some Memories and More pages with the Happiness Blooms cards, but in the meantime, they make some fab quick and easy cards. You can some others I made last year here – you can add as little or as much to them as you like.
As always here is the list of supplies I used on todays cards. Don’t forget a £45 purchase will earn you a free product rom our Sale-a-bration catalogue – I will also send you a little gift if you use the Rainbow Rewards code pictured below at check out.
