Welcome to my blog which is an accompanying post to this month’s Stamp Around UK Video Hop. Our challenge this month was to create projects featuring our favourite DSP – and what a challenge that was!! Not the projects of course, but to choose which was my favourite DSP of course!! I have so many favourites, like good old Bruce Forsyth, but the one I’m working with the most, at the moment is Hydrangea Hill from the Hydrangea Hill suite.
I chose to create 2 cards to show it off, both using the same layout. One using the Highland Heather papers and the other with the Seaside Spray. The other side of these papers is so pretty, you can why there are 2 sheets in every pack!!
The sheer ribbon is also such a pretty, pretty ribbon. So easy to tie and looks good even as an accessory on a photo!
Of course, as this is a video hop, there is an accompanying video so you can see exactly how I created my cards. There is a bit of fussy cutting involved – which I know is not for everyone – but I hope my video sows you how easy that really is.
On the video description, there is a link to all the other participants in the hop. be sure to hop around their videos and see what projects they have created with their favourite DSP.
Finally, this is the suite we will be using on my Bingo night. It is going to be a brilliant, fun event and you will receive a sample of the suite as well as all the supplies to make 4 cards. Not only that, but we will play 5 games of prize Bingo with loads of prizes – all bundles from the Spring Summer catalogue.
If you are in the UK, it would be great for you to join us – it’s a virtual event, so no limits on where you can join from! It takes place on April 9th, do shout if you have any questions.
Until next time, happy crafting
