While we were at our recent Onstage gathering, we were reminded that not all of our class attendees have craft stashes the same size as ours! What?!! No, I jest! I know I am lucky to have lots of space and a lot of stash but we were reminded to go back to our roots and try some simple stamping.
This is not easy for me! My supply lists are usually the length of my arm as I reach for that punch, that die and that embellishment simply because I can, it’s there and why not use it?!
But perhaps sometimes, my projects can be intimidating to a new crafter, so in the spirit of #simplestamping here is my first inking up of Incredible Like You.
Simple Stamping Project No. 1
I thought one of the images resembled the images in Frosted Floral so teamed it up with 2 colours of cardstock and one ink! I personally can’t get over the size of my supply list – I doubt it’s ever been this tiny. However, I’m pretty pleased with the result of my card – it is no less pretty than any other ‘huge supply list’ card I’ve created – IMHO!
In fact, I loved the layout of the card so much I decided to make a Christmas version of it which I will post soon. There will also have be a video tutorial too, so watch this space!!
I hope you liked today’s project, it probably needs no explanation as it’s a very simple stamps, ink and paper project. There may be a sneaky punch involved, however, if you do not own this punch it is very simple to recreate this shape with scissors.
As always, here is a supply list for today’s project. You can find any of the items in my shop simply by clicking on the link. I highly recommend the Frosted Floral DSP. It is stunning in real life and has a gorgeous sheen to the imagery. As always, the Rainbow Rewards shopping code is included at the end should you wish to make a purchase. Simply add it at check-out to receive a free gift in the post from me.
