Let’s face it, no-one wants to have to make a sympathy card because it symbolises the passing of a life. However, it is a card that will undoubtedly convey our sympathies and feelings when words are sometimes just not enough at this difficult time. There are 32 different sentiments in Itty Bitty Greetings and ‘Love and Sympathy’ was perfect for this occasion. I have also stamped ‘Sending Prayers’ from the same set on the inside.
When I first purchased Rooted in Nature, I told myself I didn’t need the framelits. I’m so very glad I changed my mind and bought them.
Tips and Tricks for my Itty Bitty Greetings Sympathy Card
- My colour palette was monochromatic to convey a feeling of peace so I chose Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.
- I stamped and die-ut the large tree as I felt it best conveyed the feelings I wanted.
- I cut my favoured size of Stitched Framelit Circle and offset my tree on it.
- Before I stuck it down, I slid in my sentiment also stamped in Crumb Cake.
- The whole element i raised on dimensionals under a Very Vanilla layer which has the gorgeous linen thread tied in a small bow.
