As promised, here are more of our team swaps, this time from Alison Swann. Ali came to my very first class and signed up on the spot. She fell in love with the products and as a certain supermarket says, she thought why pay more?! If you have ever considered saving on your Stampin Up purchases, have a read here.
Ali is the ‘A’ in my ‘Aces and Diamonds’ team and she put us all to shame by creating not one but two swap cards. Unfortunately, Ali doesn’t have a blog just yet – but she should have, don’t you agree?
I believe Ali cased this design from a sample in the catalogue but put her own spin on it. Isn’t it another great way to use washi on a card? I also think by picking out different colours in the washi as Ali did – which was the same washi I used on my card here, it looks totally different. You would hardly think it was the same tape.
Her second swap was a really clever way to use Endless Wishes.
I don’t have this set yet but this might just have persuaded me that I need to add it to my collection. I do however think the Stars from Bright and Beautiful might just work, so might have a go using those to create a Christmas bauble. I love the paper piercing around the Bauble – it really adds a perfect finishing touch.
