It was high time I got my creative juices flowing again with a challenge and over at the Global Design Project, they have a sketch challenge this week. I immediately had an idea in my head so went straight to work. Firstly, here is the sketch
And here is what I came up with. I still have the Urban Underground suite on my brain after my Mini Craft Day at the weekend – did you know, I have this available as a takeaway option?? UK addresses only. If you are interested register before March 28th.
But back to the sketch…
- I’ve used the Fabulous Nailed It Bundle a great stamp set with matching dies bought together with 10% off. The spanner die is used to cut a window through the Stitched Framelit shape to see the silver foil shining through.
- The coordinating wash tape is used across the width of my card to provide some great visual interest.
- In keeping with the parameters of the sketch I have stamped the little nuts rising from behind my focal point.
Though the suite is probably targeted more towards men, I think the colours are perfect for all ages and both men and women. The Delightful Dijon is such a rich colour and pairs perfectly with the Basic Grey – pop back tomorrow to see a very feminine card I have created in these colours.
