We have just returned from Onstage Local in the UK which was held in Telford. This is a huge event held in various locations all over the world where we see our new catalogues, celebrate our achievements and inspire each other with lots o fproduct demonstrations and project-swapping. I was lucky enough to have five of my team join me this time and as is tradition, I got them a little gift. The lovely Tamra Davis in the US personalised some Stampin’ Up bone folders for me with their names and our team name. Aren’t they fab?
Of course, as a Stampin’ Up demonstrator, gifting something to another Stampin’ Up demonstrator, it needs to in some fabulous packaging. So I created a holder embossed with the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. It is decorated with a double die-cut – first with a circle and then with the Sunburst Thinlit. I heat-embossed my greeting in gold and punched out with the Tree builder punch – finally a little gold baker’s twine and Peekaboo Peach ribbon finished it off.
It was a really great couple of days and as we always say in Stampin’ Up, we join for the stamps but stay for the friendships. I have met some fantastic people in my locality, in my team and across the UK and beyond all thanks to Stampin’ Up! If you’ve ever thought about joining, it really is a great opportunity and something I guarantee you will not regret.
