I was just about to head out the door a few days ago when I heard my friends beloved pet had passed away. I didn’t have one already created in my stash, but had the perfect DSP so created a Playful Pets sympathy card.
As always, the fact that Stampin’ Up’s DSP coordinates perfectly with the cardstock means that you can whip up a gorgeous card in mere seconds. The DSP contains some fun cartoon style images of various dog breeds, but I chose to use one of the more subtle background images instead.
The sentiment comes from our FREE Sale-a-bration set, Heal Your Heart which has the perfect mix of Sympathy style sentiments. I just stamped that in Memento Tuxedo Black. I felt the coordinating twine was all the embellishement that was needed on this card.
This DSP is perfect for more cheery pet occasions but does lend itself well to a sympathy card too. I hope it inspires you should you have a similar sad occasion to mark with a card.
