This week at The Global Design Project we are casing the fabulous Steffi Helmschrott – I just love her style. She has an amazing rainbow card to case which made me want to make some Pop of Petals Butterflies. Here is Steffi’s card…
and here was what her creation inspired me to make.
I used several rainbow colours and embossed the Butterfly from Pop of Petals in white. It’s the first time I’ve used the butterfly stamp as I always opt for the flower stamps. Pop of Petals is just fab as it is available in a bundle with a coordinating punch. This ensured this project come together in about 15 minutes – and that was mostly playing about with measurements!
I had some frames left over from my latest WLCR Crafty Escape to the Country so I put one to good use with this project. I used one of my favourite sentiments from Colourful Seasons – another must have set!
And a close up of the cute little butterflies. If you were to stamp this directly onto Cardstock without punching, the antennae are included in the image. Punching out the image leaves them out, but I added them back in with the help of a journaling pen.
As always here is the list of supplies I used on today’s project.
