I’ve been having a clear-out of my retired items on Ebay. I wanted to send a thank you card to send with the items and needed something quick and easy without compromising on style. As I’ve been making a conscious effort to pull out some old favourites that haven’t seen some love in a while, I decided to make a Quick and Easy Swirly Bird card.
I liked this card so much and as it was so quick and easy to do, I made a few more for my team meeting swaps. And as I needed some Congratulations card for my wonderful team, I changed up the colours and made a few more!!
Tips and Tricks for my Quick and Easy Swirly Bird Card
- Choose Three co-ordinating colours
- Stamp the largest feature stamp first in your main colour
- Stamp the next largest in the lighter colour
- Then fill in the spaces with your smallest stop
- Finally embellish with some rhinestones or embellishment of your choice
- Don’t forget yo make use of your scrap for the sentiment, see more examples here
- Don’t forget the inside of your card and NO naked envelopes!!
Just to prove to you how quick and easy this card really is, I’ve made a very quick video! You really can make a batch of these cards in no time at all!
If you feel the card is too plain for your style, consider mounting the Whisper White onto a coordinating base card, adding some ribbon or time, or even cutting out some of the shapes with the co-rdianting Swirly Scribbles Thinly Dies.
