I won the fabulous stamp set, Delightful Day, at our recent Onstage 2019 gathering in Telford. It’s a great new set; perfect for tags and packaging treats but also works great for cards too. I used a couple of Subtle family colours that I rarely use, just for a change.
Tips and Tricks for my Delightful Day Congratulations Card
- This is a layout I revisit often. You can see a similar one from a few years ago here. My central Soft Sea Foam measures 7cm wide – meaning I can cut 3 from standard A4 cardstock. Then my next Whisper White layer is 6.5cm.
- There is a little dotty stamp which I used to create the pattern on each side. The stamping is tone on tone – meaning Petal Pink ink on Petal Pink cardstock.
- I stamped the leaves first in Soft Sea Foam and then stamped the blooms on top in Petal Pink.
- Finally, the full bloom was stamped on a Stitched Circle die-cut and a little banner was placed on top with Congratulations stamped in Soft Sea Foam.
And finally, here is a list of all the products I used on today’s Delightful Day Congratulations card. As always, don’t forget to use my current Rainbow Rewards Shopping code pictured below at checkout and as a thank you, I will send you a little gift in the post directly from me.
Until next time, happy crafting
