Well, I am back from my holidays, school starts back next week, the weather has turned so it would seem there is not a lot to look forward to but…. HOLD THE PAGE!!!… The Stampin’ Up Seasonal catalogue went live a couple of days ago.
While it may only be August, most of us crafters are already thinking ahead to the biggest card making occasion of the year – yes, the C-word… CHRISTMAS!
Now of course, our Seasonal Catalogue is not all about Christmas, we have a lot of Autumnal themed sets, plus of course some fabulous items for Halloween, but my first purchase and first make used one of the Christmas themed sets.
It is a very simple card and was one we made at my Fast and Fabulous class earlier this month.
I added a touch of snow by using my Two-way glue pen and sprinkling some Dazzling Diamonds fine glitter on top. I thought it added a nice touch, what do you think?
There are lots of other little stamps in the set including polar bears, Christmas trees, Merry Christmas banners etc and if you flick through the catalogue (see the link on the right hand column) you will see various inspirational ideas in the catalogue itself.
It is a Photopolymer set and so easy to use (no need for a Stamp-a-ma-jig here) so you can whip up a stunning card in minutes.
Here is what you will need to recreate the card:
