I’m taking part in a video hop with the Stamp Around UK team where our theme is Shimmer Sparkle and Shine. I pretty much took the ‘sparkliest’ products I own and put them together in a Blingtastic card!
Firstly the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper – I cant believe this is the first project I have used this on. It is amazing! Such a gorgeous shade and the sparkle and shine – is exactly as you would expect
I cut out some fabulous snowflakes using the Christmas Layers Dies – these are ‘hidden’ in the back of our Annual catalogue but they deserve to be centre stage because they are so pretty – just look how at the beautiful snowflakes they create! They complement the Winter Snow embossing folder so well. Here, I used some vellum which looks so gorgeous when embossed.
I had a happy accident when embossing my sentiment. As you will see in the video I had meant to use White Embossing Powder but picked up the Clear in error. After a little deliberation, I decided the effect was so much nicer in Clear so obviously my inner crafter knew exactly what she wanted. Finally some gorgeous blue adhesive backed gems were all that was needed to complete this card.
