That’s right, our first range of Blendabilities are available to order right now.
Before I rave on about good they are, I must admit to not having used any other sort of alcohol based marker. However, for a complete novice, I did find them extremely easy to use and the colour is so fluid and easy to blend. In your pack, there are three markers, a light, a medium and a dark of each shade. We recommend that you use our Memento Ink for your stamped image and also our own Whisper White cardstock. You can go over and over and over your image with our Blendabilities and it won’t damage your Whisper White cardstock. It will come through on the other side so you will need to mat and layer your card so you don’t see it coming through.
Here is my very first attempt. Apart from scribbling on scrap paper, this was actually my first attempt at colouring a stamped image. I thought it good enough to continue and make a card out of it!
See them in action here direct from Stampin’ Up. There is no right way or wrong way to use them. You can either start light, then pick up the medium, and highlight the shadows with the dark or do the reverse. It really is whatever works best for you and how you prefer to use them.
Here is another video showing how to achieve an Ombre effect on a more open image.
And finally, another video that can show you another use for the Colour Lifter – it’s not just for when you go over the lines 😉
Here I have listed the range of Blendabilities that are currently available. We have six more colours coming in August.

Until next time, happy crafting!
