If you are new to Stampin’ Up, you probably have no idea what an in-colour is. I know I didn’t when I first joined.
Stampin’ Up group their colours in colour families, so we have Brights, Subtles, Neutrals and Regals – which all seem fairly self-explanatory. These colour families remain fixed for a number of years, but every year we bring out 5 new colours that last for only two years and we call these the In-colours.
So we have a range for 2013-2015 and a new set that launched today for 2014-2016.
These come with the delightful names of Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Tangelo Twist, Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss.
Here is a card I made using three of the brand new colours. I must admit, I am particularly fond of the richness of Blackberry Bliss but you will need to carefully clean your stamp afterwards, and I highly recommend the stampin scrub to avoid inky fingers!
Here I’ve used Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist and the divine Blackberry Bliss. It was a simple card to make – just a bit of careful cleaning of the stamp each time and ensuring I lined up my swooshes (technical term!) correctly with the help of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
Hope you like it, as always, here is a list of what I used to make it.
